The 209Bi(n,f) cross section

Creators

Description

A suggestion for a revision of the ENDF/B-VI High Energy File has been made based on the new experimental data as well as on a recent parameterization of the 209Bi(p,f) cross section. The (n,f) cross section measurements are carried out using time-of-flight techniques. The fission events are registered by means of non-traditional solid state fission chambers with thin-film breakdown counters(TFBC) for fission fragment detection. 13 refs, 2 figs, 5 tabs
