Advanced coal-fired power stations
Description
The search for less polluting electric power generation from coal has resulted in a number of advanced concepts, called clean coal technologies. Many of these concepts are not only suitable for completely new plants, but can also be realized by revamping of existing power plants. This paper reports on the suitability for the reconstruction of existing coal power stations. Today's status of technology is taken as the basis therefore. Finally, criteria for the most preferable type of reconstruction are presented
