Determination of rare earths by neutron-activation analysis
Description
A summary is presented of the use of neutron activation analysis in geochemical rare earth analyses. It has high sensitivity (between 10-7 and 10-11g for rare earths), and recent developments in instrumentation have facilitated non-destructive analyses by relatively inexperienced persons. Limitations of the method are also discussed. (U.K.)
