Subcritical reactor kinetics with m delayed neutron groups for analyzing pulsed neutron experiments
Description
The Sjoestrand prescription (area-ratio method) for determining reactivity from pulsed neutron experiments is derived in the frame of the general kinetic theory with m delayed neutron groups. The assumption of 'delayed degeneracy' of the kinetic modes is shown to be necessary for the consistent foundation of the Sjoestrand method. (orig.)

Die Vorschrift von Sjoestrand (Methode des Flaechenverhaeltnisses) zur Bestimmung der Reaktivitaet aus Neutronenimpulsexperimenten wird im Rahmen einer allgemeinen kinetischen Theorie mit m-Gruppen verzoegerter Neutronen abgeleitet. Es wird gezeigt, dass die Annahme der verzoegerten Entartung der kinetischen Moden notwendig fuer die konsistente Begruendung der Sjoestrand-Methode ist. (orig.)Additional details
