The new energy markets and IDB's strategy in the sector

The strategy indicated herein will help to coordinate the different instruments that the Bank Group has available to orient it so that it can become a major support for developing the region's energy sectors. Nevertheless, the extent to which this support will bring benefits to the countries will depend on their commitment to the sector and their capacity to identify, along with the Bank, the most suitable responses to changes in conditions and adjustments required to ensure that the stance it adopts in a constantly changing sector continues to be valid.
