Effect of neutron irradiation on properties of recrystallized graphite
Description
The properties are reported for high density recrystallized graphites (RG) manufactured under simultaneous effects of temperature and pressure on graphite semiproducts. Their behaviour under neutron irradiation is described. Specimens are irradiated in ampoules in a core of water cooled-water moderated research reactors under controlled conditions. It is shown that in radiation resistance and in heat resistance an alloyed recrystallized graphite type RG-Ti-91 is most suitable as a material for divertors in power thermonuclear reactors as compared to other RG's considered
Abstract (Russian)
Приведены свойства высокоплотных рекристаллизованнызх графитов (РГ), получаемых при одновременном воздействии на полуфабрикат графита температуры и давления. Описано их поведение при облучении нейтронами. Образцы облучали в ампулах в активной зоне водо-водяных исследовательских реакторов в контролируемых условиях. Показано, что по радиационной стойкости и термопрочности легированный рекристаллизованный графит РГ-Ti-91в наибольшей мере из рассмотренных РГ удовлетворяет требованиям, предъявляемым к материалам дивертеров энергетических термоядерных реакторовAdditional details
