Triple discharge TEA CO2 laser
Description
The technique of triple discharge greatly enhances the output performance of the wirepreionization TEA CO2 laser. Stable oscillation of laser is observed in the CO2 : N2 : He = 1:1:1 mixture with input energy density of 240 J/liter in the TEM00 mode operation. The role of the second preionization becomes more significant for the higher voltages and for the gas mixtures containing less helium. (author)
