Hadronic cross section measurement at DAΦNE with the KLOE detector
Description
At the Frascati φ-factory DAΦNE the pion form factor is measured by means of the 'radiative return', i.e. by using events in which the collider electron (positron) has radiated a photon, lowering in such a way the invariant mass Mππ of the two-pion-system in the final state. In a recent publication of the KLOE collaboration the measurement has been performed using 2001 data and requiring the initial state radiation photon to be at small polar angles with respect to the beam axis. We show here an update of this analysis, using 2002 data. We also present results from a new and complementary analysis in which the photon is tagged at large polar angles, making accessible the threshold region Mππ2<0.35 GeV2. (orig.)
