Description

ESR spectra were taken from human liver specimens, embedded in paraffin. A sharp peak appeared at g=2.05, characteristic for Cu2+. The amplitude of the peak showed good correlation with the copper content of the specimen determined with atomic absorption spectroscopy. It is concluded that the copper content of the embedded tissue can be reasonably estimated on the basis of the ESR spectrum. (L.E.)
