On the problem of dynamic ageing of alloys

Description
The influence of dynamic ageing on heat resistance of martensitic chromium steel type 13Kh11N2B2MF (EhI 961) is considered. Two different schemes of steel stress ageing were used: holding at heat (560 deg C) under constant stress; initial stress is relaxing due to difference in rigidity of speeimen and testing machine. It is revealed that the loading according to the latter scheme has a positive effect on stability of ultimate strength, microhardness and heat resistance of aged steel type 13Kh11N2B2MF. Hardening mechanisms and kinetics are discussed
