Selection of radiometric system signals for detection of falling outside the permissible limits of controllable parameter

Description

Mutual two-dimensional distribution of pairs of radiation registered intensities by falling the controllable parameter outside the permissible limits is studied. It is shown that the above distributions are single-apex asymmetrical ones and ovals to equal probability density elongate with increase in closeness of stochastic bonds between registered intensities. Sharp increase in reliability of close extreme parameters identification is provided for by selection of closely correlated intensities. The additional reliability can be achieved by close to parallel elongation of ovals along their large axes. 4 refs.; 3 figs
