Microscopic investigation of the 16O(α,αγ)16O bremsstrahlung reaction

Description
The α + 16O bremsstrahlung reaction is investigated through the generator coordinate method. Cross sections in the centre-of-mass and laboratory frames are presented. E2 transition probabilities between 20Ne resonances are deduced. The validity of the Siegert theorem is discussed also. (orig.)
