An iterative gamma-spectrometric procedure for determination of Pu and Am-241 isotopic ratios
Creators
Description
A technique for determination of Pu and Am-241 isotopic ratios is described. An iterative procedure for determination of overall relative efficiency of detection as a function of energy is used and this permits to get isotopic ratios with 0.5 percent deviation in comparison with mass-spectroscopic values. Conditions for determination of the limits of regions of interest are established and they can be used to process the gamma-spectra. 6 refs
