Compaction kinetics of higher molybdenum borides and tungsten borides during hot pressing

Description
The compaction process is studied for higher molybdenum and tungsten borides during hot pressing. The values of the efficient Laplacian pressure are determined and the values of the activation energy are estimated for the investigated borides. It is shown that to obtain compact articles of powders of higher molybdenum and tungsten borides high pressures and temperatures close to the melting points of the given materials should be applied
