An analysis of the electrodes voltages influence on electric field distribution in JG ionization gauge

Description

In the ionizaton gauge JG used for the highest vacuum measurements the configuration and potentials of electrodes exert a considerable influence on the value of the sensitivity factor. In order to examine this influence the measurements of electric field distribution in a JG gauge model were carried out by the electrolytic tank method. The analysis of the obtained field distributions makes it possible to explain the shape of the sensitivity factor characteristics. (author)
