ATLFAST simulation of single top quark production at Large Hadron Collider (LHC)
Description
Using ATLFAST, fast Monte Carlo simulation for ATLAS experiment, have been investigated the possibility to measure a mass of top quark produced in single mode. Have been showed that its possible to obtained ratio signal over background about 2. As the pick of signal and background is on the same place, its not possible to measure mass of the top quark with high accuracy, which approve some earlier results (Unal, G., Fayard, L.: LHC Workshop, Aachen, Germany (1990), p.360).
