On the instability of plasma placed in a constant electric field with respect to low-frequency perturbations

Description
The charge low-frequency instability in a slightly ionized plasma is studied within the frames of two-liquid hydrodynamics. It is shown, that development instability in the plasma, wherein the temperature dependences of kinetic coefficients are unessential and which is conditioned by the electron current drift, leading to the charge longitudinal modulations, is possible. The instability is determined by the Cherenkov induced radiation by drifting electrons of the electron temperature relaxation oscillations
Abstract (Russian)
В рамках двухжидкостной гидродинамики исследуется низкочастотная неустойчивость разряда в слабоионизованной плазме. Показано, что в плазме, в которой температурные зависимости кинетических коэффициентов несущественны, возможно развитие неустойчивости, обусловленной токовым дрейфом электронов и приводящей к продольным модуляциям разряда.
