The level of malonic dialdehyde and reduced glutathione in rat tissues after 137Cs and 131I injection
- 1. Akadehmiya Navuk Belarusi, Grodna (Belarus). Inst. Biyyaarganichnaj Khimii
Description
The researches were conducted on females with weight 220-240 grams. Two groups of the animals have received one time intramuscular injection of I-131 in a doze 100 kBq, then Cs-137 in a doze 16 kBq during 16 days. Two other groups have received only Cs-137 in a doze 16 kBq during 16 days. Dynamics of change of malonic dialdehyde (MDA) and restored glutathione (GSH) was investigated. In brain the change of MDA concentration were more essential, the control level was not observed even in a year. Quantity of GSH for the same period has decreased to a level of control parameters. In liver the parameters MDA and GSH come nearer to control in a 6 months after the introduction Cs-137 and I-131 and in a year after receipt in the body Cs-137. 1 tab., 8 refs
