Spin-resolved orientation and spin asymmetry in electron-lithium (2s-3p) excitation

  • 1. Roorkee Univ. (India). Dept. of Physics

Description

A two potential localized exchange approach is used to examine the role of spin dependence in electron impact (2s-3p) excitation of the lithium atom. Results are presented for the spin asymmetry parameter and the alignment and spin-resolved orientation parameters at 10 and 20 eV incident electron energies. (author)
