Absolute scintillation efficiency of inorganic crystals

Description
Absolute scintillation efficiencies of Bi4Ge3O12, BaF2, CdWO4, ZnWO4, Y3Al5O12 - Ce, BeO inorganic crystals are determined experimentally. The NaI-Tl and CsI-Tl crystals were used as the reference samples. Gamma photons emitted by 137Cs (E=0.66 MeV) were used for excitation. The obtained data can be used for assessing the limiting capabilities of the investigated crystals and the detector parameter optimization
