Methodics instructions on radiation safety when using tritium oxide as a tracer at oil fields
Description
The instructions are described for the radiation safety when using tritium oxide as an indicator on oil deposits. The instructions contain general information, physical, chemical and radiobiological properties of tritium oxide, as well as the necessary measures for well preparation, use of drilling fluid, sampling, transportation, accounting and storing requirements for tritium oxide, safety measures during radiation accidents, radiation control techniques. The appendix includes the calculated coefficients for the diluted labelled fluid, tritium oxide surface pollution control techniques, calibration technique for counters used for radiation control of tritium content in samples
