Description
Inspections according to KTA 3201.3 which are commonly used on site in the FRG, are fully satisfactory for the detection of defects larger than 3 mm. The analysis methods available for the required reconstruction of real defect geometry, espec. in the assessment of the extension of defect depth, have resulted in under estimations in individual cases; this is explained largely by shadowing effects. Die in der BRD ueblichen und vor Ort seit Jahren praktizierten Pruefungen nach KTA 3201.3 sind fuer die Detektion von Fehlern >3 mm voll befriedigend. Die fuer die notwendige Rekonstruktion der realen Fehlergeometrie, insbesondere bei der Beurteilung der Fehlertiefenausdehnung verfuegbaren Analyseverfahren fuehren in Einzelfaellen zu Unterschaetzungen, die im wesentlichen durch Abschattungseffekte zu erklaeren sind.
