High-Tc superconducting materials: manufacture and application of YBa2Cu3O7-Δ thin films

Description
The historical aspect of high-Tc superconductors specially YBaCuO, BiSrCaCuO, TlBaCaCuO; and their properties are reviewed. The effect of addition of silver to YBa2 Cu3O Δ to improve it's mechanical property is studied. Various stages of manufacturing and preparing YBa2 Cu3O Δ. Thin films using magnetic sputtering through dir current is described. Superconductivity, crystal structure chemical composition, form and fine structure of YBa2Cu3O7-Δ thin films is investigated using various techniques of materials analysis such as measuring critical temperature, X ray diffraction, electronic microanalysis and scanning electron microscopy. The role o buffer layers in the structure of YBa2Cu3O7-Δ-Ag thin films and their properties is investigated
