The second national comparison of acknowledged services for personal dosimetry in the Netherlands

The first title comparison was in 1990. The aim of the comparison is to gain insight into the dosimetry performance of six personal dosimetry services in the Netherlands. The 1994 European Commission report 'Radiation Protection 73; Technical recommendations for monitoring individuals occupationally exposed to external radiation' is used for testing criteria

Abstract (Dutch)

In het najaar van 2003 is de tweede nationale vergelijking van de 6 erkende diensten voor persoonsdosimetrie in Nederland uitgevoerd. Deze vergelijking is bedoeld om na een periode van 13 jaar (de laatste vergelijking dateert uit 1990) opnieuw inzicht te verkrijgen in de dosimetrische prestaties van deze diensten. Evenals in 1990 ging het er ook nu om hoe goed de diensten in staat zijn om het persoonsdosisequivalent te meten dat onder laboratoriumomstandigheden aan de persoonsdosismeter was toegediend. Het verschil tussen het gerapporteerde persoonsdosisequivalent, Hp(10)dienst (Measured Dose) en het toegediende persoonsdosisequivalent, Hp(10)NMi (True Dose) is uitgedrukt in het quotient Measured Dose / True Dose. Als toetsingscriteria zijn toegepast de aanbevelingen van de Europese Commissie zoals opgenomen in Radiation Protection 73 Report EUR 14852 131
