Self Assessment and Corrective Action Program are methods for identifying and implementing these changes. Continuous performance improvement will be achieved through settlement of open, honest and fair cultures. For these changes, we need for performance improvement programs. As operating units increase, we need to introduce the advanced operation system. Moreover, independent external agencies such as WANO, IAEA and regulatory body have repetitively pointed out some weak areas that are composed of lack of awareness about international performance goal and standards (PO and C), root cause analysis and process for error prevention. In accordance with these surroundings, KHNP organized special task force team (K-SET) and evaluated gap between our company and Standard Nuclear Performance Model (SNPM) assessed by Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI).
