Large-scale irregularities of the F2 layer during magnetospheric disturbances are investigated. For the period from 1967 to 1968 years the data on critical frequences fΛOF2 from Alouette-1 satellite are presented. Examples of fΛOF2 latitude dependence are presented. The results obtained testify to the fact that irregularity sizes along geomagnetic meridian are 1-3 thousands kilometres
