Description
This paper discusses the free precession of slowly rotating neutron stars, idealized as rigidly rotating, fully general relativistic bodies. It is shown that, in the limit of slow rotation, general relativistic gravity produces no changes whatsoever in the classical Euler equations of rigid body motion. (author)
