To the theory of electron elastic scattering from solids
Creators
Description
On the basis of the Boltzmann kinetic equation solution the theory of electron elastic scattering from solids has been developed. The calculations concern polycrystal materials experimental data for which are more numerous and have a better reproducibility. The problem can be considered in the case as one-dimensional depending only upon the coordinate, perpendicular to the solid surface. The theory is valid for the primary beam energy values corresponding to small values of elastic scattering coefficient. The theory determines the relationship between the elastically scattered electron distribution function and electron elastic scattering indicatrix in a solid
