Description
Total differential cross section measurements for He + CO2 scattering, which are sensitive to the attractive well region of the intermolecular potential, are presented and analyzed. These measurements cannot be fitted using even highly flexible central-field potentials. However, a physically reasonable anisotropic potential does yield a high quality fit to the data. (Auth.)
