Description
The performance of the U-25B MHD generator is analyzed with theoretical predictive models developed at Argonne National Laboratory. Modifications and improvements of the computer codes, motivated from study of the experimental results, are outlined and discussed. The theoretical predictions are compared to experimental results and good agreement is found. Sensitivity studies involving a number of input parameters are used to identify those parameters that have a strong impact on generator performance
