Description

This paper described a model for correcting deadtime effects in coincidence counting. The correction is based on waiting time distribution for the detection of particles. The waiting time distribution is expressed as integrals of correlation functions, using Sratonivich's theory of random set of points. The correlation functions are solved from the basic equation governing the probability
