Improved lifetime measurements in 61Cu via the 61Ni(p, nγ) reaction
Creators

Description
The effective stopping power for Cu ions slowing in a Ni environment was deduced for an average initial recoil velocity of 0.0025 of c. An improved value of 41 ± 5 fsec for the mean lifetime of the 2088.7-keV level is reported.NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁶¹Ni(p,nγ), MeV, enriched targets; measured Δ E(τ); deduced effective stopping power, τ.
