De-excitation of a light nucleus: from evaporation to vaporization

Description
The de-excitation of a light nucleus was studied over a broad excitation energy range. The charge distribution of the emitted products indicates an evolution from an evaporation to a multifragmentation/vaporization processes. Successful comparison, at high excitation energy, with a model based on a thermodynamically equilibrated fermion and boson gas strongly suggests that the system under consideration decays in a supercritical regime.
