Usefulness of high dose contrast enhanced CT and clinical applicability to hepatoma
Creators

Description
The density of intra- and extra-vascular contrast medium is highly maintained from the beginning to the ending of our designed high dose CE-CT scanning. It reflects porto-parenchymal phase of the liver surely and high CT values of the liver parenchyma and veins are not decreased even at the ending of the scanning. Because of definite visualization of portal veins, portal embolus and lobar or segmental attenuation difference by potal obstruction in hepatoma and portal collateral pathways in liver cirrhosis are clearly demonstrated.
