Cryogenics for the BARC-TIFR Linac
Description
The main components of the cryogenic system for the superconducting Linac being constructed at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, are the closed cycle helium refrigeration system and the modular cryostat for housing the accelerating cavities. One cryostat has been designed, fabricated and tested using the closed cycle helium refrigeration system. Details of the cryogenic system are discussed. (author). 4 refs., 3 figs
