Description
In a realistic calculation the L-S coupling scheme is restored not only for the parity doublet levels but also for some other levels in the superdeformed limit, because of the strongly deformed quadrupole interaction. This real-spin mechanism can take into account the unique-parity level, in contrast to the pseudo-spin mechanism. The contribution from the unique-parity level to the M1 transition becomes nonnegligible when the nucleus is superdeformed
