Description
In Switzerland fracture mechanics methods are to be used to verify quantitatively that the required protection against nonductile Failure has been provided. Linear-elastic and elasto-plastic test and calculation methods can be applied provided this has been approved by the Swiss licensing authority. The protection against nonductile Failure is demonstrated
