Description
A laser photoionisation technique, using two-colour three-step schemes, has been employed to determine odd levels of uranium in the scantily explored excitation region 39 900-41 600 cm-1. Over 260 energy levels of uranium have been identified, of which 64 levels have been assigned unique J values and 76 levels have an uncertainty of only one unit in their J values. (author)
