Structure and magnetic properties of ordered alloys of FePd-Me (Me - Cr, V, Nb)
Creators
Description
Investigations have been made into structure and coercive force of Fe44Pd52Me4 alloys, where M is a transition metal (Cr, V or Nb). Thermomechanical treatment of ternary alloys with Cr or V results in a decrease of magnetic domain size and in an increase of superlattice L10 tetragonality. All this promotes coercive force growth. Destabilizating of tetragonal superlattice L10 to the point ot its transformation into cubic L12 structure in niobium containing alloy induces sharp reduction in magnetic properties
