Solutions of the Wheeler-DeWitt equation
Description
This paper deals with the solution of the Wheeler-DeWitt equation with a massive scalar field for a Kantowski-Sachs metric using the Born-Oppenheimer approximation. Also, solutions under different assumptions are determined to indicate different stages of evolution of the universe. Finally, these waves functions in the asymptotic regions are compared with the Hartle-Hawking wave functions (including second-order corrections) evaluated using the concept of microsuperspace. 13 refs
