Mass measurement of Zn, Ga, Ge, As, Se stable isotopes

Description

More exact and reliable masses of stable isotopes of Zn, Ga, Ge, As, and Se are determined. As substandard elements, the masses of 1H, 13C, 14N, 16O, 32S, and 35Cl are used. The present data are given in the M(12C)=12.000000 scale. For the measurement of mass of each nuclide various organic compounds and their fragments have been employed. All the possible ''isotopic'' doublets have been measured. All in all, 158 of the main doublets have been measured and, taking advantage of them, the masses have been determined for 19 stable isotopes: sup(64,66,67,68,70)Zn, sup(69,71)Ga, sup(70,72,73,74,76)Ge, 75As, and sup(74,76,77,78,80,82)Se. As the error of mass measurement the value 8x10-6 atom units has been adopted. All the ground and ''isotopic'' doublets measured and isotopic masses derived from each doublet are presented in a table. The other table lists average mass values, which have been calculated with the allowance for the ''weight'' of the measurements. The same table gives for comparison the most recent experimental mass-spectroscopic data for the range of nuclei under consideration
