Description

Some of the recent high-spin physics is outlined, which currently is being studied with the new generation of heavy-ion accelerators and gamma-ray detection devices. Even though such studies are being investigated in several laboratories, I shall illustrate my various arguments with data obtained primarily at Daresbury Laboratory by a consortium of experimentalists from Daresbury, the Universities of Liverpool and Manchester, and the Niels Bohr Institute.
