Investigation of mechanism of surface reactions of water destruction of U(6) complexes with tri-n-octylphosphine oxide at reextraction

  • 1. Moskovskij Khimiko-Tekhnologicheskij Inst. (USSR)

Description

Investigated is kinetics of destruction by water of the UO2(ClO4)2, UO2(NO3)2, UO2Cl2, UO2F2 and UO2SO4 complexes with TOPO to establish relations between the rate of the process and extraction constants. The rate constant calculation was carried out according to initial rates and the rates of transition period. It is shown that the rate values are equal and decrease with concentration growth of complexes in organic phase. Description of supposition mechanism of the process of destruction by water of extracted uranium complexes is presented
