Description
An outline description is given of a videostore system developed in conjunction with Thermal Controls Ltd to reduce the procedure time, amount of contrast media used and radiation dose. Advantages are 1) improved imaging is produced because each stored image consists of a number of frames integrated together to increase the signal-to-noise ratio, 2) the footswitch gives heel and toe operation of the videostore and x ray machine, independently or combined, 3) the electron tube store can adapt to CCTV operating conditions, 4) quicker identification of significant features in the stored image.
