Safe management and disposal of spent radioactive sources
Description
This paper describes the spent radiation sources' generation and its safety aspects; Also discussed are the necessity of enhanced management and the measurements put forward by State Council 449th Document; Regulations and standards promulgated by IAEA and by China are introduced; Also introduced are safe treatment and conditioning technologies related to spent radiation sources, with the emphases being on spent radium sources.
