Electrical properties of (SnTe)1-x(NiSe)x solid solutions
- 1. Inst. Neorganicheskoj i Fizicheskoj Khimii AN Azerbajdzhana, Baku (Azerbaijan)
Description
The (SnTe)1-x(NiSe)x alloys, containing from 0.5 to 5 mole %, are synthesized; their electrophysical properties are studied within a wide range temperatures. The conductivity temperature and concentration dependences, thermo-e.m.f. and heat conductivity of the obtained alloys are studied. It is shown that the thermo-e.m.f. and the width of the forbidden zone grow with increase in the NiSe content within the interval of 0.01≅x≅0.05. The maximum values of the thermo-e.m.f. factor depends on the content of NiSe in the alloys. The heat conductivity decreases with increase in temperature within the interval of 300-800 k
