Thresholds and saddle shapes in symmetrical and asymmetrical fission in the Ra range

Description
In the framework of the statistical approach the experimental data of fissionability and angular anisotropy of fragments for symmetrical and asymmetrical fission in the Ra nuclear range have been analysed. The results agree with theoretically predicted different thresholds and symmetries of the saddle shapes for the two fission types
