The future energy supply of the Free State of Saxony from the view of the environmental policy

Description
In the paper the perspective of the various forms of energy for the energy-supply of Saxony is explained. The future application-field of the native coal is extensively described. The modernisation of the power-stations is considered as an great challenge for Saxony. Structural decisions had to be made in this connection. The special activities are seen in a close connection with the necessary global CO2-reduction. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Im Artikel wird die Perspektive der einzelnen Energietraeger fuer die Energieversorgung des Freistaates Sachsen unter umweltrelevanten Aspekten erlaeutert. Besonderes Augenmerk findet dabei die Darstellung des kuenftigen Einsatzfeldes der heimischen Braunkohle. Die Modernisierung des Kraftwerksparkes wird als grosse Herausforderung fuer den Freistaat gesehen -notwendige strukturelle Entscheidungen waren in diesem Zusammenhang zu treffen. Die konkreten Massnahmen werden in engen Zusammenhang mit der notwendigen globalen CO2-Minderung gebracht. (orig.)Additional details
