Method for evaluating secondary radioactive contamination from forest fires

Description

A method of estimating secondary radioactive contamination is presented in the paper. The method is based on comparative analysis of environmental, meteorological and phytocenological parameters. It is shown that at the present time, as well as before, there is a risk of atmospheric transport of radionuclides from the smoke of forest fires. (authors)
