Measurement of the W and its couplings
Creators
Description
A summary of the current experimental understanding of the properties of the W boson will be presented. Particular emphasis will be given to recent CDF and D0 results on the mass and width of the W, as well as results on the SM couplings of the W to other gauge bosons (tri-linear gauge couplings). The implications of these results for the understanding of the SM will be highlighted. A brief overview of expectations for improved measurements at the Tevatron and at LEP2 will also be given
